The Ullambana Celebration will be held on Sunday, August 21st at 10:30 am. Please, arrive early.
All are welcome.
The tradition and practice of Ullambana dates back to the original Buddha to cultivate filial piety and gratitude to our parents. We remember the kindness of our loved ones who have departed and those still present in our lives today through chanting prayers.
The Buddha thought his disciple Maudgalyayana how to make offerings to the Sangha and dedicate it to his mother to alliviate her suffering in the lower real. Making such offerings eradicate bad karma enjoying peace and blessings.
We invite you to be part of this auspicious dedication of merits through making offerings as gifts for your loved ones.
