  1. Dear friends,
I am the Volunteer Coordinator at Wernersville State Hospital, and I am reaching out to the Chùa Xá Lợi / Xa Loi Temple / Inner Peace Meditation Center for assistance. Our goal is to provide all persons who have serious mental illness, including those with co-occurring disorder, the opportunity for growth, recovery and inclusion in their community, so they may enjoy a quality of life that facilitates personal growth and achievement. A growing number of consumers have expressed a desire to participate in a Buddhist service or guided meditation in the Buddhist tradition. Is there anyone in your community that might be willing to volunteer in a Buddhist service or an English meditation class? I welcome the opportunity to speak with anyone that would be willing to enhance our consumers lives. This would be an on-site visit. If you would consider supporting an often-overlooked population, we would be extremely grateful. My direct line is 610-670-4164.
    Warm regards,
    Kathy Ellett
    Volunteer Resources Coordinator
