Good Morning Welcome all of you in this meditation class. Let us sit comfortably and sit up straight.
Our meditation is activating the energy to cultivate this special energy from the Buddha to ourselves and transfer to all people we love.
Every Saturday is the moment we sit down and receive. We are using the mindfulness breathing technique for our mind to be stable and still. We are chanting the mantra to connect with the Buddha and Bodhisattvas in order to purify and transform.
The first mantra Mu A Mu Sa means compassion. The second mantra, Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng, means wisdom, to see through impermanence suffering and no I. The third mantra Ma Sa Op Ue means awakened.
When we chant slowly by carrying the energy from the lower body to the top of the head generates a lot of energy. Our meditation is the healing meditation working with the energy. The combination of the energy from all the enlightened ones and ourselves leading us to be more peaceful and balancing all kinds of energy which transforms all negative energy for us to be more positive every day.
So now lets start.
Breathe in, expanding the belly, hold it there for three seconds, concentrate on the heaven gate, breathe out, sunken the belly, chanting the mantras receiving the energy and offering to all:
Mu A Mu Sa, Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng, Ma Sa Op Ue.
Dear my friends, life is energy. Negative energy influences our activities every day. It makes us tired and makes our lives terrible. We all experience negative energy affecting us. It is not good, not healthy. Positive energy increases a good force of living is helping us to be happier. Life is making choices; We choose to engage and enrich the positive energy. Also, we take charge to make the positive energy increases up Live for now. Is really important. So many things happen around within or without. Always distract us away to pay attention on our energy. WE don’t even notices somehow the negative energy is influencing us so much. WEE are supposed to be enjoying our lives. We are supposed to be happy and peaceful. The nature within us is called the Buddha nature. It is supposed to support us all the time, but we never realize there is such a thing. We are here now, be are distracted by so many things that happened yesterday and so many different plans in the future leading us away that we cannot even live now. What is helping us to stay still? Mindfulness breathing techniques it the technique Buddha uses to practice with him to become the enlightened one. After than that he knew that it is very hard for others to concentrate based on mindfulness breathing techniques. He had offered the better truth with mindfulness breathing techniques, and the mantras of compassion wisdom, and awakened. To offer directly his energy to us the energy flows within us when we are chanting those kinds of powerful mantras. It empowers us, the energy creates a great vibration that we are all filled with. We just need to pay attention on how the energy is flowing. Allow the connections to remain. Allow the transformation to start possession. Maintain the special transmission happening every second that when we are sitting practicing meditation or even every action in our daily life. Energy is part of our life. Being in the now and live for now, not yesterday or tomorrow by practicing mindfulness meditation which also by chanting the very powerful mantras, the compassion, wisdom, and awakened mantras. Every one of us will be able to know that we have a special capacity to expand our positive energy for us to be happy and to offer to all of our loved ones. Right in front of the temple we have a small bridge that a small creek flows by. The environmental people who work for the government always walk around and make sure that nothing is there blocking the water flow. Which just means they clean up sometimes to clear up the creek. They also test the water sometimes to make sure the water is good. They really care for the environment. The nature of the land and all the living things surrounding. One of our temple neighbors also our member, Eileen, she used to be helping the county collect the water and test. If the water is good, they are happy because they know the water provides life for all there. If it is not good, they have to work to make sure the source of the water from the nature is always good. The energy, just like the creek which flows. The Energy flows from the source of the enlightened one to others section by section. Every one of us must take the responsibility to take care of the part of our life, the creek of the energy, make sure we clear up, make sure we test the energy and allow the energy to transform to become more positive. Don’t throw trash or what ever is useless, down to the creek of the energy to block it. That is our responsibility. We have to take care of that. If the water from the creek flows in a very nice way, it provides a lot of energy for all living things.
If the energy from the Buddha directly to our lives keeps flowing in a positive way, it is very helpful. All we have to do is clean and clear our lives by stopping doing anything negative. Negative way, which means so many ways we all know. We have to stop it. We don’t allow anyone surrounding there throw the trash or block the water to flow when we practice meditation, we stand up for ourselves. It benefits ourselves, our family, our communities. We also offer part of our life, all our energy that we receive from the Buddha to other people we care about. May the water flow from the creek back to the river and flow to the ocean. If we keep the water from the creek clean the entire living things in this earth benefit from it. If we keep our energy positive our entire family, our life and others benefit from it. Live for now means taking care of at this moment by being with the mindfulness breathing techniques and chanting the mantra and stay with the energy which vibrates within us. Just allow the energy to transform. Just observe that transmission that is very special. The moment that the energy starts to flow is the moment we connect to all Buddhas. The moment that we connect to our master, our friend, our Sangha, our community wee offer to society all good energy especially our loved ones, husband, wife, children, parents. Live for now just means, positive living. Just think that way is very easy. Our meditation practice is engaged with the energy. The art of healing. We all have some things that make us sick, make us tired, make us sad, make us angry. All those energies disrupt our lives. We are not going to surrender. We have a better choice to live better. The healing meditation is a better choice for us now to regain the peacefulness within and to reactivate to cultivate with all the buddhas to receive the energy for our lives to live positive and offer to others. That is called living for now. Don’t let what happened even a second ago bother us. Don’t let the future lead us away now. Every Saturday we practice. Every day we love to ask you to practice together. Could be different time, but always the same mind, the same thought that benefits all. For those who care for their lives. For those who care for their families, for their loved ones. Always need to understand. Live for now. All things Buddha says is impermanent. It happens for a reason. It comes and will be gone, never still exists. Now is the moment for us to live. The energy we receive that flows in us is now. Let the healing start. Let all kind of suffering slowly transform then peace and happiness be with us. Let us cherish our lives together and send the unconditional love to others no matter who and how they are we all love them. That is what Bodhisattvas practice, that is what the Buddha teaches. That is what we practice all the time.
Lets return back to the breathing technique at this moment, I ask all of you to meditate on all of your loved ones, thinking about your parents, mom or daddy, your family, husband, wife, children, friends, community, and especially your sangha. We pray for all, for all. All the sentient beings no longer suffer and all receive the special cultivation from the Buddha and always live for now, and receive a positive energy and offer to all.
