Good morning. Today is Saturday. We practice meditation together. If you are there with me on YouTube or Facebook. Just sit down and relax. Sitting down in a position that your body allows, so you feel comfortable. Now just relax. Look up to the Buddha. Together we begin.
We pray. May all sentient beings be free of suffering and may all receive the compassion and wisdom energy from all Buddhas from the ten directions. We put the right hand, we name the wisdom hand, on top of the left hand, we name the compassion hand. Let the wisdom lead us to know all truth. Let the compassion nourish our life.
Our system of practicing meditation is a way to get to know ourselves much better every day. To heal all kinds of suffering caused by many means for many lifetimes which still exists within us.
We use mindfulness breathing techniques to help the mind to be in the moment. So, when you breathe in you breathe in slowly with how your body can absorb it. Don’t push too hard. Very easy, take it easy. When you breathe in you are expanding your belly. You hold it there for three seconds and allow your body to absorb the oxygen. You focus on the heaven gate point. It is located in front of your tail bone. Keep your mind there for three seconds, breathe out, sunken your belly and chant mantra number 1 and number 2. The first one is Mu A Mu Sa which means compassion. You chant from your lower body up. We are helping you to connect with all Buddhas so you can receive a greater compassion energy. To activate the energy within you. This is a very nice process because it heals all kinds of things, awakens you and also helps you to cultivate with the highest energy from the enlightened ones. The second mantra is Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng. It is helping you to slowly see the truth of all truths.
So now we do it. While we do it we are going to receive a good energy. The energy will vibrate the physical body when the energy flows. All you do is observe it and allow it to flow just like water down the river. That is all. Let’s do it together.
Breathe in, expanding your belly, hold it there for three seconds, concentrate on the heaven gate point, breathe out, sunken your belly, chanting the mantra:
Mu A Mu Sa – Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng (7x)
You just be silent and keep doing the breathing technique and chanting inside your mind. While you are doing that you are observing the energy and allowing the energy to flow. Our meditation really activates the energy between us and all the enlightened ones to have a very special connection as we all receive a good energy.
What we are talking about today is “Connect with All as they are.” In life, all of us connect with all by a special selection which matches with our own desire. What is matched with our own desire to satisfy our own feeling. We select all, and we connect with them very badly and for what. If it is not matching with our own desire, we reject it. On the one hand we connect by selecting, on the other hand we reject and push it away because it is not matching with what we want. Because of that our energy is never stable. It is all up and down. Our feelings are sometimes happy, by finding what is good for us we think, then unhappy because something is not being with our expectations. So, the feeling bad or good, and good emotions or bad emotions depend on what is going on every day. It also depends on how you put your life into what you want or don’t want. By that it causes a lot of trouble for us because sometimes we feel so good, so great, and sometimes we feel very bad.
Also because of that there is some times we feel get along very well and sometimes we cannot get along with them. Also, we connect with them for a moment and later we don’t. That is why there are some friends we feel to be good with for days, months, years, then after that we are separate because we cannot find anything to be with. All of that happens just because we select all to put in the box what we have created. We think they need to be inside that box of our own desire. Then we shake it to see what is ok. If it’s not ok we push it away. We use too much energy for those kind of actions in life.
Our meditation is not about selection or rejecting. It is not within our mind because we practice Mu A Mu Sa means compassion. Compassion is special. It is loving all how they are in order to do so we have to light up our wisdom. Only the true wisdom that can see through all phenomena how they are, truly pure with compassion. Within that wisdom, Na Mo Ta Mo Ta Mo Da Ra Houng mantra is helping us to know the truth of all. There is not selection or rejection. There is no judgement. There is only love. Pure love, that is all.
So practice with the compassion meditation or the wisdom meditation is a special practice which is helping us to stabilize our mind, our thoughts, our actions in a very good way to be happy and peaceful. By that when we engage with all people by many meanings and many situations that we all be able to get along with how people are. With no expectations that they be the way you want them to be. They are how they are naturally. Understanding is one thing, but practicing is another.
If you don’t meditate on the compassion and wisdom we are still just jumping around just like the grass hopper from one spot to the other spot. The more we jump like the grasshopper the birds will be see us. The grasshopper will be food for those birds. If our thoughts are just hopping around to select a good spot, then we will be in the stage of unstable mind, thought, action. Then it will burn all good energy. We suffer just from there. They say the grass is always greener on the other side. The grasshopper always thinks to the left to the right front or back the grass is better greener. So they are just hopping, hopping. If our thought keep jumping like the grasshopper we will get tired. Practice meditation to be peaceful not with the selection of what we want or the rejection of what we don’t want. Everything we associate with in this life there was a karma between us and all building up that relationship to be together now.
So many times we reject and so many times we select, but what really satisfies you forever. You know there was a day when you were really happy, and a day you were really unhappy. You feeling and emotions is never stable because we depend on what we like. Buddha teaches us to open our mind, to respect all the nature surrounding us and connect with them by your wisdom and compassion. Therefore no rejection or selection. Just to be with them if there is a good Karma time to be with them. Open up and be with them. The wisdom we practice through the second mantra will increase up the energy to purify any negative energy while you interact with that person for you to have a better thought and truthful in the right love of open minds with no judgement.
Only practice, only practice will help you. Listen to what we talk about to understand but have to put all we understand into the practice. Everything in life we need to practice. Meditation is the same. Information, knowledge is all good. But we have to carry in and transform it by the practice. For those who practice daily, even just 5 minutes a day, it will really benefit. Physically, spiritually and mentally. Yes, there are so many things happening every day that cause so many good and bad, suffering or happiness, peaceful or not peaceful. By practicing we stand strong and stable, and we have enough energy from practicing and our wisdom light Is not shaking at all. It is shining up all so we can see through. We can see through to forgive ourselves and each other and be happy all the time.
For those who practice day in and day out will help a lot. Also by practicing, we will see how our feelings clearer, see our emotions more clearly, don’t worry when we are angry, don’t worry when we feel bad. That is the way to know the truth of how we are so we can transform it. In life, when we association with someone, or when we suddenly feel suffering or uncomfortable. We disconnect, we run away. You miss the chance to transform it. The more you run away, the more it chases you. The more you face the situation, use the compassion and wisdom. Look at that and transform it. Right next to what feels uncomfortable you can turn around and make comfortable. The way you can turn things around connect with them by connecting with them how they are with no expectations. Expectations create a lot of suffering. Expectation which we try to match with what we want is really greed. Greedier every day because we try to control the other.
When you feel someone trying to control you. Driving you in the way they want. It is not to stay away and look at them so badly. Look at them as special. See them as a reflection of how they are to promote your own compassion and wisdom to transform your life. Because of them you recognize that is still a feeling which could start jumping your anger or your bad feelings. That is because it is within you. The action from them shows you what is inside you. Recognize that and work on it right there with the compassion and wisdom. Not because of pointing the finger they are the bad guy. Bad or evil always exists within. When we interact with others it is like a mirror to see ourselves clearer every day. Every day when we wake up we clean our face, we brush our teeth, and we look into the mirror to see how our face is. We make up our life with compassion and wisdom by seeing the mirror of the actions we interact with all every day. Let’s use the wisdom and compassion, but not use selection or rejection to run away. Connect with all as they are by wisdom and compassion life will be better every day. See what you could do most to offer to others and just do it. Be there to see yourself through other peoples actions. Also, the way you activate your compassion, your love, your wisdom. Don’t let others dim your wisdom light. You are how you are, they are how they are. Between us and them only wisdom and love. No rejection, no selection, no judgement, only wisdom and compassion. That is the way for us to be happy all the time no matter what.
Put your right and left hand together again and go back to the breathing technique. We pray that all the sentient beings be free of all kinds of suffering and receive compassion and wisdom energy. We pray for all of us living in the freedom of wisdom and compassion which connect us with all in love and care. We no longer just use our own desire to make a selection or rejection by our own judgement no more. We learn from the buddha, be with the breathing technique. Shine up the wisdom, open up our compassion to connect with all who have the right time to be with us with how they are. We stabilize our mind, our thoughts, our life with that. May all our loved ones, our parents, our family, friends, community always be peaceful and happy and mindful and enjoy life.
